CAD Design Technology has developed dramatically from its mainstream introduction some twenty years ago. At IPS we chose to adopt the use of such software in its early days and have continued to adapt and utilize its more modern relations up to the present date. Current operating systems include, but are not limited to, AutoCAD RevitAutoCAD BIM 360 & FARO Scene as well as other supplementary specialist software packages. As the base form of the various types of software is very similar we are able to create and export files using these systems which in turn can be integrated into various other 2D & 3D operating systems and models used by our clients.

3D Design software allows the manipulation and input of data from a project’s conception, ensuring potential clashes or interface issues are addressed early on. Adoption of such tools can save substantial costs and time which would otherwise be lost when construction has commenced. Building Information Modelling (BIM) is an invaluable tool which is transforming the way our increasingly complex schemes are being planned and executed. It provides predictability during the construction phase allowing more efficient coordination and the prevention of expensive conflicts and project delays.

Our design team continues to work together with clients to capitalize on the opportunities available for the introduction of pre-fabricated, skid or container mounted packages.

The use of Caesar II software for piping and structural analysis Finglow for Pressure Vessel and heat exchanger design further supports our design capabilities allowing us to offer our clients a complete design package.
